Pianist Misuzu Tanaka will perform works of the
great 19th century Romantic-era composers at the Clarence Dillon
Public Library on Sunday. November 1, 2015.
The recital will begin at 2:00 pm. Ms. Tanaka studied piano at the
Julliard School with Martin Canin and chamber music with Jacob Lateiner,
Seymour Lipkin, and Robert Mann. She
holds a Masters in Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from the University
of Michigan. She has performed at
Lincoln Center, Washington’s Kennedy Center, and across Europe and Japan. She has established herself as an artist of
remarkable individuality with a rare combination of poetic sensitivity and
breathtaking virtuosity.
The program will take place in the
downstairs meeting rooms of the library.
Admission is $5.00 which is payable at the door. Registration is requested but not
