Alexander Hamilton, one of our most exciting
Founding Fathers, is the subject of a lecture at the Clarence Dillon Public
Library on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 2:00 pm.
Perry Leavell, a former professor of history at Drew University and a
very popular speaker, will present an engaging and scholarly talk on the man
who was the first Secretary of the Treasury and a chief aide to George Washington
during the Revolutionary War and much more.
Hamilton has been the subject of numerous books and a Tony award winning
musical.
The program will be held in the
downstairs meeting rooms of the library.
Admission is $5.00 which is payable at the door. Registration is
requested but not required. To register
