Sandy Putnam will present a two-part lecture series
on the Greatest Music Moments at the Clarence Dillon Public Library. The first program on Sunday, November 10,
2013 will feature some of the most sublime music pieces from Haydn,
Mendelssohn, early 1960’s American folk music, and Frank Sinatra. The second program on Sunday, November 17,
2013 will include selections ranging from Rachmaninoff, Broadway, and
Elvis. Both programs begin at 2:00 pm.
The programs will be held in the downstairs meeting
rooms of the library. The programs are
free and registration is requested but not required. Please register by calling the library at
