The incomparable story of the 1950’s Brooklyn
Dodgers will be brought to life in a lecture by Professor James Kane at the
Clarence Dillon Public Library on Sunday, September 29, 2013. More than a baseball tale, this story follows
their love affair with their fans, the rivalry with the New York Yankees, and the
afterlives of their great stars. The
program will begin at 2:00 pm.
The program will take place in the
downstairs meeting rooms of the library.
Admission is $5.00 which is payable at the door. Registration is requested but not
required. Please register by calling the library at
908-234-2325 or by email ref@dillonlibrary.org or in person at the circulation desk.
