Noted art historian Barbara Tomlinson of Princeton,
New Jersey will present a lecture entitled “Why Not Women?” at the Clarence
Dillon Public Library on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at 2:00 pm. With her customary insight, engaging
anecdote, and cultural perspective, she looks at extraordinary female artists
who blossomed following the late 19th century “door opening” to
women in the arts.
The lecture will take place in the
downstairs meeting rooms of the library.
Admission is $5.00 which is payable at the door. Registration is recommended but not
